What I write about here: social media thoughts & tools, advertising, planning, Dallas culture & life, things I miss and love from Oregon...but mostly marketing. A blog is a great way to sort out your thoughts and produce content that serves work & a social life all in one. Go Social/Go Local/ :)

Pretty cool infographic, however, even since October, it’s a little outdated. The iPhone also comes in a 32GB variety, and for iPhone and Android phones, there is the capability to do live broadcasting with apps like Qik Live and uStream. That’s really going to be an interesting space to watch in the coming months, especially if they tie in to location-based services like foursquare, Gowalla, and whatever Facebook does if the decide to implement LBS as part of their platform for the future.
Personally, however, if I was in the market for a phone right now (although I’m not because I love my 3GS) I would wait until we see how the Google Nexus One shakes out in the next month or two. From the way it looks now, it could be a Droid-killer and a serious iCompetitor.

Since you bought one of these smart phones, what have you decided? Did you finally decide by price, by features, by service, by apps, by some other criterion. And, for the less well-informed consumer, how should one approach this brave new tool box?
